Congratulations on your NEW family member!

We appreciate so much that you considered Grey Face and were open to giving a senior a second chance!

Grey Face has matched many families with companion animals, giving us the experience and knowledge to make your adoption a success. We hope you will be very happy together!

If you need advice or guidance along the way, or simply want to let us know how your senior is settling in, please feel free to reach out.

CONTACTING OUR TEAM

Our team wants to keep in touch so we can help you bond with your new companion.

If you have immediate questions, we encourage you to look through your dog adoption packet.

If you have questions that aren’t answered in the adoption packet, please email us at adoption@greyfacerescue.org or send us a message through our Contact Us page.

SHARE YOUR STORY

When a dog leaves our care for a “new beginning” we feel great joy for them and their new families. But it doesn’t end there for us. Our team and our fosters LOVE to hear how dogs we’ve cared for are doing in their new homes.

We’d love to know how things are going, and we hope you’ll keep in touch as you and your new companion settle into your forever life together.

There are many ways you can reach us with your updates:

  • We encourage our adopters to join our Facebook Alumni Group! A community of senior dog lovin’ people who work together to share the mission of Grey Face Rescue. You can join by clicking here

  • Post a message on our Facebook page or send us a private message.

  • Post photos on Instagram and tag @greyfacerescue.

We very much hope your adoption experience with Grey Face has been a positive one, and we are honored to welcome you as a new member of our family! If you’d like to continue supporting us, we’d encourage you to explore other ways to get involved such as volunteering, becoming a foster, purchasing Grey Face gear from our online store or participating in one of our events.

YOUR DOG’S MICROCHIP

If your animal received a microchip in rescue, you will find the microchip number in your veterinary records. We encourage adopters to continue to keep their microchip up to date and check it annually. You can do this by calling Customer Service for the microchip vendor. If you do not know your microchip vendor, then you can look it up here

At times, we are unable to provide a microchip if the foster is unable to bring the animal to our Grey Face Rescue office in St. Cloud. However, we welcome you to join one of our free microchip clinics or a clinic hosted by Tr-County Humane Society.

IF IT DOESN’T WORK OUT

As stated in your adoption contract, “Adopter acknowledges he/she has fourteen (14) days from the above date to return The Pet to Grey Face for a refund of the Adoption Fee identified above. After that 14-day period has passed, Adopter acknowledges there will be no refund of the above-referenced Adoption Fee.”
