Grey Face Gives is a program created by Grey Face Rescue with the goal of giving back to pet owners in need through donations of food and pet care supplies. As our mission statement says, “Grey Face Rescue strives to educate and strengthen the bond between families and pets to avert the need for rescue in later years.” Our hope is that by providing support and resources to pet owners, the need for rescue will decrease in our community.

About the Program

The Grey Face Gives program will be a mobile service housed in a branded, enclosed trailer and available once a month to residents of the St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids, Waite Park, Sartell, and St. Joe communities. Our main focus will be to provide support while maintaining the safety and dignity of our patrons. To do this, we’ll encourage those wishing to use our services to make an appointment via our website and the location of the monthly give will only be disclosed to those who register.

The Grey Face Gives program will focus on providing supplies such as food, toys, and basic care items as a means to bridge gaps pet owners may be facing in providing care to their animals. The trailer will be stocked with excess or unusable supplies donated to Grey Face Rescue or through dedicated fundraising efforts. As needs of our community are further identified, we’ll be able to specialize the offerings available through the program.

Next Steps

As the program grows, we’ll look to establish partnerships with local food shelves and other community service providers to ensure we’re reaching those in need.

In addition to providing supplies throughout our community, the Grey Face Gives trailer will also be used for promotional and adoption events, fundraising, parades and more.

Grey Face Gives is a program built on keeping pets and their families together. By providing food, supplies, and support at no cost we hope to continue to decrease the number of displaced animals in the St. Cloud and surrounding area.
