Thanks for your interest in adopting one of our Grey Face dogs! This application is not binding, and it does not necessarily mean you will adopt a dog, only that you are interested in meeting the animal to decide whether you would like to adopt.

Please note: Meeting one of our adoptable dogs does not guarantee adoption. We often receive multiple applications for the same animal and must make a determination on what home is best for each dog. Unfortunately, this means that sometimes we have to turn down great people for adoption on a particular dog – please don’t take that personally!

IMPORTANT TO note:

• Our adoption fees are stated on a dog's profile. Discounted fees are available for seniors (65+) and veterans.

• Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience.

• We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation.

• Our adoption process consists of a phone interview, reference checks with personal and vet references, a home visit and a meet and greet with the animal you are interested in.

• Please let any references, INCLUDING THE VET CLINIC you cite, know we will be calling, as this is the most common area where the process slows down. We want to unite our dogs with their forever homes as quickly as possible, but the steps in the process are critical, so we appreciate you giving your contacts this heads-up.

Once you submit your application, our adoption manager will be in touch, so please check your spam folder if you do not see something from us within 7-10 days.
